(Inbound Account Manager/ Travel Designer)
Kelana DMC is an inbound travel company. It takes care of the clients of overseas travel organizations. Those may be individuals or groups.
They will advise overseas travel organizations on travel itineraries, calculate the price of these itineraries, and oversee the required reservations. The candidate cares for and works closely with one or more overseas accounts.
An 'Account' means one or more overseas travel organizations such as travel agencies, travel companies, travel wholesalers, incentive houses, and whichever organization offering travel arrangements for their clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, preparing, and quoting FIT & group travel programs for our clients.
Essential requirements of the candidate:
- Knowledge of tourism highlights and various accommodations in Indonesia is essential.
- The candidate has the necessary communication skills to converse with overseas clients while creating a travel program fitting a particular request's expectations, budget, and time restrictions.
- The candidate must have an excellent eye for detail and pay rigorous attention to a program's price, quality, and feasibility.
- Attention to detail when calculating and overseeing the reservations is a must.
- The candidate must be able to work under pressure and deliver within deadlines.
- Working closely with the other divisions in the company is essential. The ability to function in a team is an asset.
- Previous experience in a similar position is preferable.
- Having a sales-driven attitude is an asset.
- Working with Word and Excel under Windows is a minimum computer literacy requirement.
